Butcher’s Fees
Butcher fees are as follows, these fees are subject to change. Butcher fees are determined by the Butcher at the time of processing.
Pork on farm slaughter fee $100 per animal, custom cut and wrap fee $1.30 per lb. Bacon and Sausage are an extra $2 - $3 per lb for curing and smoking.
Beef on farm slaughter fee $150 per animal, custom cut and wrap fee $1.40 per lb
Goat and Sheep on-farm slaughter fee $75 per animal, custom cut and wrap fee $1.30 per lb
Chicken $12 butcher fee per bird
Turkey $18 butcher fee per bird
Each animal is different so we cannot predetermine weights. You will be charged on the hanging weight of your specific animal. We try to match hanging weights to each customer's needs. If you want a smaller or larger whole or half please let us know.
We will know hanging weights on processing day. Hanging weights are the carcass without the head, hide, feet and intestines/organs (offal) etc. You are not charged for organs and they will be sold separately when available.
